1984 plus 20

From today's NY Times:

When asked about the findings of the 9/11 commission that there was no connection between Al Qaeda and Iraq, Bush responded, "The reason I keep insisting that there was a relationship between Iraq and Saddam and Al Qaeda" is "because there was a relationship between Iraq and Al Qaeda."

His evidence? That agents from both parties had met throughout the years covertly. End of story.

The commission's take? Al Qaeda asked if they could use Iraq for training camps. Hussein's answer? No.

Where is Morgan Spurlock when you need him? He'd uncover the truth!

He's working on his next movie, an expose about broken glass. He steps all over it with bare feet and gets a team of doctors to monitor whether his feet become cut up and bloody. (They do.)
