First a cell phone, now this?
It is summer. I am relaxed.
Hell, I'm so relaxed that I'm going to gaze at my navel like all the other folks out there with blogs.
I'm so relaxed that I stayed out late the other night and helped my team win a trivia night against our much respected rivals. Beginner's luck? Maybe. We'll see next time.
This has been much discussed already at balgavy and youthlarge.
I'm so relaxed I went to a Mets game on a weeknight last night.
I'm so relaxed I'm going to go to a late Neko Case show tonight at Southpaw.
What makes me so relaxed? It is summer, school is over, and the living is easy.
Summer Dan stays out late on weeknights.
Regular Dan does not.
Summer Dan starts a blog.
Regular Dan does not.
Summer Dan reads books at a quicker pace.
Regular Dan reads books at a slow pace.
Summer Dan reads mostly fiction.
Regular Dan reads mostly non-fiction because it is easier on my brain.
Summer Dan goes to a lot of movies.
Regular Dan goes to a lot of movies.
Now I'm at a loss, what else differentiates Summer Dan from Regular Dan?

well well, look who has a blog. a cell phone and now this. what's next, becoming a yankees fan? my favorite part of summer dan is driving him crazy with the snooze button as i attempt to get up in the morning.
Summer Dan saves low energy larry by feeding him a stready stream of junk food and trash talk somewhere in western PA. It was "neat".
AI sucked dude
Maybe Summer Dan and Monday/Thursday Jim can do some exploring in the city together. (Those are the days I don't work.) I have a goal for this summer to visit some neighborhoods where I've never or barely been: Jackson Heights, Harlem, Sheepshead Bay, etc. And check out places I've been meaning to get to for years, like the Museum of TV and Radio.
Or maybe Summer Dan will be too busy writing his blog. That's okay too, I like reading what my friends have to say. And Chris is right, AI sucked from beginning to end.
Jim,
I'll explore some neighborhoods with you. How the hell have you never made it to the Museum of Radio and Television?
Anne and I actually went there once. It was too late in the day to reserve any watching stations, or whatever they're called, so we just watched a short documentary about Bloated Vegas-era Elvis.
