"We cannot accept this result as legitimate because it does not meet international standards and because there has not been an investigation of the numerous and credible reports of fraud and abuse," Powell said. How can he possibly say this with a straight face?
And on another note, does anyone think that the Democratic candidate has any chance at all to win over the Republican candidate in the Washington race for governor? I don't care how many recounts they do, no Democrat can win these days when it is that close. Whatever happened to the good 'ol days of 1960 when the good guys were the ones who won by fraud?
