what's funny is that it is a picture of me, rather than me me.

Wow! These pictures are great. I was reminded of my younger days when houseboats and a general bohemian vivre were a fairly common part of the world of Bowles.
And that clean ,crispy air, just the tonic on a miserable NY rainy Wednesday.
What Bowles means to say is that "being drunk on houseboats and sticking uncomfortably to vinyl couchettes in the humid Thurne air" played a large part in his youth.
Thanks for putting these pictures of my "home" on your blog. I am very nostalgic for Seattle after seeing them. I hope you appreciated it's charm as much as I do.
