That's just about the coolest picture ever. That's almost as cool as the picture of Richard & Pat Nixon that Weasel keeps on his fridge. That's almost as cool as my mom meeting Hugh Gaitskell* in 1958. That's almost as cool as dining with a personal aquaintance of Lyndon Baines Johnson who told me all about his ropey table manners. * British Labour leader, back when they were socialists.
The Nixon thing is a lie. What about your signed photo of Margaret Thatcher, Mr. Bowles? He sent off for it when he was 10 and a self-described "young conservative".
Great photo. You should recreate it at school. Mr. Bowles (if he crouches) looks a little like Truman.
Oops. You know my fridge better than I do. That's Mrs Weasel's photo (taken by her grandfather) of VP Nixon and Pat acting as grand marshals in the Portland July 4th celebrations of nineteen-blufyhwerr. I take back the 'Thatcher' slur, I just thought you were calling me a Republican.
I have sat behind George W.'s old gubernatorial desk at the Petroleum Museum in Midland TX though.
