Sebastian is constantly surrounded by music. I've never seen a kid so engrossed by the act of listening to each song and studying the cover art and booklet. It is astounding.
His current fave: Jonathan Richman.
You have not lived until you've heard a two year old recite the lyrics to "Monologue About Bermuda."
His current least favorite: Lemon Jelly
The first minute of their DVD scared the hell out of him.

Sebastian has many aliases. He currently likes to be called Isabel. Other recent names of his choosing are "The Sphinx" and my favorite, "French Tape." I will let Jeremy explain in the comments section if he so desires.

Nothing says Vermont like a shivering Youthlarge standing next to an old graveyard.

DJ Audible and DJ Bibimbop at the usual 9-11 Sunday night slot of DJ Audible's. He usually has a theme to his show, but the only theme on this night was "Party!"
Howver, DJ Listmaker didn't really perk up until we started playing some really bad Huey Lewis from his terrible 1988 LP Small World.
Bobo Tempo anyone?

Hey, is that Jack Watson's art?
We'll be heading back to Vermont this summer on the way to Maine as part of the famed 50 State Baseball Convoy.

I heard a story last night on Maine Public Radio that told of an evangelist couple and a Class A motorhome who tend to the spiritual needs of logging truck drivers at rest stops as "their trucks are too big for regular church parking lots".
The 50 State Baseball Convoy will be so large it will require two eccumenical RVs, plus a pop-up camper for the atheists.
I am glad you were able to escape to VT for the weekend. I like VT, its like Northern California without the owl buggery. Also, if Youthlarge had inserted a tap into those headstones, they produce maple syrup. The Devil's maple syrup perhaps, but syrup none the less.
You better hope Mom doesn't see these pictures, she will start saying how much she wants a grandchild. Oh, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
By the way, why is MCA reading to Sebastian? He seems to have soap in his hair (MCA, not Sebastian).
Yours,
Rick Astley
nice one, WW. MCD.
Owl buggery? I'm not even sure whether I (a Northern Californian once upon a time) should be offended or not.
I though owl buggery was what united Julia Butterfly Hill with the ex-presidents and CEOs that gather at Bohemian Grove.I of course live in a state where we have moose safaris.
