This is one that my class recently completed. With the help of a class parent I set them loose to work on creating their own version of Romare Bearden's famous collage The Block.

It is so big that it wraps around the corner.

My favorite part of each child's work is where he/she decided to put his/her picture.

An even closer look

I think that each child's representation of his/her gigantic living space is still bigger than my real living quarters. Sigh.

Brooklyn cliches shared by the outsdide world #1: in bulletin board photo 5 I thought at first that the kid was being offered a sip from a 40 by a colorful New York intinerant, then I realized they were playing ball.
Glad to see that your kids live in the Pompidou Center
A marvellous bulletin board, it's even better in the flesh.
