1. It was the site of the world premiere of the Bart Decoursy play 20 Midgets back in 1998.
2. It was the site of the debut of future rock legends!

The set:
"Wild Thing" - The Troggs
"Werewolves of London" - Warren Zevon
"Purple Haze" - Jimi Hendrix
"Rockin' in the Free World" - Neil Young
"Should I Stay or Should I Go?" - The Clash
They traded off vocals between Lyle and Sophie. Youthlarge thinks that Lyle's vocal style is completely an homage to Mark E. Smith.

Damn I am so pissed I missed this extravaganza!!!!!!
More bands' "What:" should be Rock N' Roll Music.
i really wanted to go to this, but forgot i had Sonic Youth tickets for the same night!
i'm trying to figure out a way to get them to play a party where all my friends can go. the two girls are also in another band that is all girls- they do a ramones cover and i believe a donnas cover.
Listo- I really was supposed to go to this and forgot
Thanks for the reminder
debbie,
i thought you fired me as your social planner.
How about a gig at that new ice cream parlor on 7th ave...get their sister band and have a Rock and Roll Ice Cream Social! I bet they would be up for it and they have enough space in the back, and they would sell a bunch of Ice Cream....maybe have it at the end of the school year as a "School's Out" special!!!!
How about a summer rocknroll grillfest in Hard Working Larry's back yard!
chris, i'll recommend that to them.
jim, i love that idea!!!
and don't forget to invite me...with at least two days notice.
