Hot

You'd think that a school that charges close to $20,000 tuition per student would figure out how to fix the fucking wiring so all the classrooms can have AC. So that some teachers other than prettyboy Mondale can have AC. I'm hot and grumpy.

It is 85 degrees of sticky, humid air in my classroom.

I'm pretty because my huge A/C unit and multiple fans keep me cool all day. I'm pretty because my class are going to Coney Island tomorrow as an end of year fiesta. I'm pretty because I'm clinically obsessed with LBJ. I'm pretty because I got a huge write up in the second grade newspaper all about my marvellous suede loafers. I'm Pretty because I got me a British accent.
Pretty Boy Bowles.

You are pretty because you have a class parent/ former director of school who is leaving Brooklyn and wants to go out with a bang and is taking you and your class to Coney Island.

You are pretty because you happened to have kids interview you who could write down what you are saying unlike other teachers who had kids interview them that could barely spell "cat."

That's the first time in sixteen years I've read the word "pretty" in direct relation to Mr. Bowles. Normally one hears him described as "NFN."

Am I pretty by association becaause I am also attending the Coney Island bash and have shared
the glorious AC.
Not for nuthin' but Listmaker has a right to be grumpy and whine his classroom is like a sauna!

some of us don't even have AC at home, so we don't want to hear your petty bitching. we didn't even have AC when we were in school, so it's not like you haven't ever known a world without it. that private school has made you soft. Bowles is British, so he's soft by definition.

no ac for me isn't as big a deal as not being able to keep the kids' attention because it is so fucking hot.

you not having ac at home is your own stupid fault -- it ain't that expensive.

do you have some magical air conditioner that manages to not raise your electric bill by $20-$50 a month? if so, put me down for one.

sometimes paying the extra dough is worth it. in this case, ac is more than worth it to me.
