But it has already been close to a year. Some say that you have a year to buy a wedding gift. Using that rationale, I gave myself a year to post some of the pictures from the event on the internet. I sifted through over 1,500 digital pics to finally be able to present you
some of the finest.

There are pictures in here from many different sources -- professional and otherwise. They aren't in any particular order. And for the record any misspellings are not mine!
If these pictures don't excite you, maybe the fact that today is the 19th anniversary of my bar mitzvah might.

When I think about 19 years ago, I have a very clear memory of this particular week. I remember parking our car on an elevated block near Greenwood Cemetery in order to watch the 4th of July fireworks over the Statue of Liberty while simultaneously listening to the Mets win yet another game early in that fabulous '86 season.
It was an auspicious year to make your Bar Mitzvah.
two months after i became a man, i attended my first mets game. bob ojeda shut out the dodgers.
man, that picture of Marc has to be on of the greatest things i've ever seen. the one with me and my brother is also fun.
All I got from Bob Ojeda was a $25 savings bond. Great photos.
What an amazing place to get married (probably can't get a late edition of the Portland Press Herald there though); congrats on almost a year.
