So Check It

Along the lines of this post and this post, I need to state that I continue to learn new things about Youthlarge.

Recently, I learned that I am married to a woman who buys dental floss on eBay.

I e-mailed her and asked her if it was okay if I mentioned this on my blog and she immediately sent back this gem:

yes, you can tell the world i bought floss on ebay, but make sure you mention what a great deal it was lest someone makes fun. so check it, i got like a dozen things of glide floss for $15 postage paid. these are normally $3.50-$4 each.

and then i got a 5 pack of oral-b cross action vitalizers for $5!!! i think postage was 50 cents. these are normally $3.50-$4.50 each!!! and it came with 20 bonus brush-ups, those things you use to wipe your teeth when you don't have a toothbrush handy.

"those things you use to wipe your teeth when you don't have a toothbrush handy"- I've always carried a handful of sterile McDonald's fries for that purpose.

Wow, the things one can find on ebay- its good to know that these sort of listing are actually what they say they are; I'm always concerned that they are going to be cheap Bulgarian knock offs constructed out of pubes and soap to look real. I will rethink my shopping strategy.

You are a wise woman. With shiny teeth.
Now you can spend good money on impulse buys or splurge a little.

Nice buy!!

That stuff is friggin' expensive. You should charge Dan 25 cents per yard just for making fun of you.

My last ebay purchase: Scrabble Deluxe.

I think eBay is particularly good for buying items related to bodily functions and maintenance.
My last eBay purchase was an Omron automatic blood pressure monitor with something called "intellisense."

I love Glide floss! The space between my teeth is very narrow, and Glide was the first floss I know if that addressed this issue. YL's purchase was wise.

My only question is Why is Youthlarge looking for dental floss on eBay? I'd never think to look for everyday items on that site.
