Stone Groove's Big Adventure

Game 1
Baltimore

If only I could have convinced this whole group to go to all seven games!
Back Row: The Balgavy Clan
Middle Row: Stone Groove and Amy
Front Row: Handwashings et al

Game 2
Baltimore

Umbrella Day

Game 3
Pittsburgh

This crazy mom kept cutting me off as we walked out of the parking lot, across the bridge, and into the park. Then when we were taking pictures, she "accidentally" bumped into me hard. Odd. Her son's shirt read "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap."

I'll never get sick of this view.

Before Game 4

Morton

Stone Groove - a born rock star. If you're lucky, Youthlarge will let me put one of his performances from this morning on her website so you can see the brilliance for yourself. You'll never hear "Calfornia" the same way again. Trust me.

Getting ready for the night game.

Game 4
Pittsburgh

Our gracious hosts.

The parrot stole that kid's Nats hat right off of his head. It ended up getting quite violent.

Game 5
Philadelphia

Uncle Brian, Aunt Rosemary, and a mean motherfucker. Carlton, not the Phanatic.

Hip Hop Phanatic: View of the Scoreboard

Game 6
Philadelphia

Game 7
Washington

Mission Accomplished: Brad Wilkerson drops in for the game.

My dad was very excited to spot Tim Russert and James Carville from our seats.

For full writeups of the game, check back in this space come November for my annual year end wrapup.

That's fantastic! That's what Bowles wanted. Lots of interesting and amusing pictures to look at but not too many words.

Has Bowles been drinking away the pain of preschool again...?

I must say I do enjoy pictures of baseball more than actual baseball... all that green.

The O's do give away good umbrellas - I have one from a few years ago and it held up nicely. Great photos!

Morton has been positively morose since you all left. I have been trying to cheer him up by teaching him how to do "The Freddie".

Dan, we have to set up the meeting of Stonegroove and the Great Silver Fox. They could talk about music, sport and coming of age in the 1950's all day! it would be fantastic!

You know what else I love...
When kids turn against mascots. Not every child thinks furry mascots are cute and adorable. My nephew attacked Chuck.
E. Cheese that is.
On his birthday at Chuck E. Cheese Joshua was afraid of Chuck and when he came by our table, Josh freaked out and that flight or fight kicked in. He fought by throwing his large coke at Chucky!!!!
Priceless!
Good times

Stone Groove is so cool. Can I purchase individual pictures of him?
