3. They have two former Yankee rejects. If they win, this will surely enrage Steinbrenner.
4. They haven't won the World Series since 1917.
5. Scott Podsednik might not be that great but he looks fantastic in those knee high socks. Although he doesn't always wear them high so enjoy it while it lasts.
6. They got no respect all season. I admit that I am also guilty of this transgression. But I do find it funny that the number one naysayer all season of the Chisox was Apes who watched his BoSox get swept out of the playoffs by them.
7. Ozzie Guillen cracks me up.
8. It'll annoy all of those incredibly obnoxious Cubs fans.

Hopefully Maine Jim will share why he hates the White Sox. Its a proper Mainer grudge.
I'm torn; part of me wants the Angels to crush the White Sox like they crushed the Red Sox, part of me wants the White Sox to win for the first time since 1917 and the Cubs to win it next year. If we can't be special losers, then nobody can be special losers. Regardless, if those stinkin' Cardinals get through I'm fine with whichever AL team wants to cane them.

6) They spawned Joe Buck
7) They lost to the Yankees in 1928 & 1942
8) They killed Darryl Kile
9) We aquired Edgar Renteria from them, after they had ruined his confidence
10) St Louis is in Missouri, which is a shit hole.
