i was *just* going to post something myself on the degrassi revival. our dvr looks pretty similar these days. i have a horrible memory so even though i watched all of them the first time around, it's like having all new episodes!
DVR A Brilliant Mind and zip to the scene where Russell Crowe is first called in by Ed Harris. Pause the movie as the numbers and codes start scrolling at high speed around Russell Crowe; write down the numbers that become highlighted after he touched them. Transpose the numbers into a single unbroken line. Using the Turing-Schoerer alpha-numeric system transliterate each digit into its corresponding letter of the alphabet. Astoundingly, it spells out: "Today Degrassi Old School Guest Starring Anthony Bourdain".
Uncanny.
