I Shouldn't Be Alive

Touching the Void was one of my favorite movies of 2004. So when I heard that the producers behind that movie had started a new show on The Discovery Channel, I was excited.

Granted, I'm still mad at the folks at The Discovery Channel for forcing the Tastee Diner to move locations, but I decided I'd give the show a chance.

The first show absolutely had me on the edge of my seat. The true story of five survivors of a capsized boat struggling to survive in the shark infested Atlantic is a clear recipe for Listmaker viewership.

But then the next few episodes were hideously bad and I was forced to fast forward them. However, it rebounded with two really good episodes after that. Overall, there have been seven episodes thus far. Three of the seven have been really good.

The first episode about the capsized boat is airing again this Friday. Give it a shot. Or watch this clip for more details.
