Who's Up for Some Newhart This Saturday?

The legend is performing this Saturday in Brooklyn. I can get cheap seats -twenty bucks or so. I want to order tickets tonight! Let me know if you want a ticket.

i SO wish i could join you for this. I LOVE the newhart. LOVE him. i had a fairly horrible past year, including the death of my father in august and me & ted breaking up in december (i know, i know, we were coming up on 9 years - who'da thunk it?), and bob newhart was part of what helped to get me through. well, actually it was his stand-up albums and "the bob newhart show" dvds, but you get my point. if you go see him live, please please please post about it, 'kay?

I find myself watching fewer and fewer programs on television. Granted, I'm a nostalgic crank (just ask WWeasel), but I find very little that can hold a candle to comedians like Newhart. Both his 70s Bob Newhart Show on CBS and later, Newhart, were part of my weekly viewing.

Wish I were closer, or I'd take you up on your offer. Have fun!

i saw him in college up in burlington. his "women drivers" bit did not go well with the crowd. curiuos if he's still doing stuff like that.
