Japan, Part I

7/29
Osaka

Dotonbori neighborhood
My kind of town - baseball is on televisions outside.

Clowns are scary

Hanshin Tigers photobooth

You know, I think that Glico man would look good on a t-shirt.

7/30

Instant Ramen Museum

Hanshin Tigers game - Koshien Stadium, the oldest in Japan. It was built in the 1930's and is an amazing place to watch a game.

Japan is the best. You can bring your own beer into the game. They have many stations where you can pour your beer into a cup.

The sight upon entry. Japan is crazy.

This kid kept looking back to keep tabs on me. Everyone was wearing jerseys or t-shirts of their favorite Tigers players. His favorite - Yano. I still can't get the Yano cheer out of my head.

Speaking of cheers.

Youthlarge kept asking me if this was Balgavy.

The 7th inning stretch saw many balloons being let go into the summer sky.

How did Shane Spencer do?

I think I might have to boo him, I know he was a Met long enough to have a couple cups of coffee. But in my mind really he was a Yankee the whole time.
