and while you're on the subject of 1986, you (and everyone else) absolutely must read this Uni Watch column that introduces a new twist to the whole Buckner saga. i won't ruin it for you, but i was floored.

Props to you, Listmaker. Carp didn't pitch a poor game, but the tone was set from the first inning. You scored, we didn't.

I fucking hate Scott Rolen right now. And I hate that La Russa is sticking with him. Actually, La Russa has gone from being on my X-mas list to being on my shit list in just two games.
