Red Hook!

This past weekend, Eric and Amie visited Brooklyn. Friday night was filed with Sidecar fun. Saturday night was filled with Schnack and Magnetic Field fun.

Saturday afternoon included a trip to Red Hook for some good 'ol vendor fun.

Eric got excited as he watched his meal being prepared.


After the vendors (I'm sure SHR will post her review soon) we caught a few pitches of some high school baseball.
Then I insisted we head to Steve's Key Lime Pies for some swingles - a frozen mini key lime tart dipped in chocolate. My facial expression says it all.

So close! Right after this picture was taken, Dave pulled the swingle away.

Sun, water, and swingles. What an afternoon.
Amie was visiting a friend so she wasn't with us but Eric made sure to buy her a papusa, a horchata, and swingle for later. What a guy.
