Snopes describes it thusly:
Folding common paper images such as currency and familiar product packaging to produce amusing (and often risqué) new images is a pastime with a long history. After all, several generations of kids have now learned that if you cut a few holes in a package of "Land O Lakes" butter and fold the portion with the pictured Native American girl's knees up just right, you can make it look like she's holding her breasts:
I started cracking up during the presentation, leaned over to SHR and told her that my grandfather used to do that trick. She couldn't believe it. "Grandpa?" she asked? "Really?"
The answer is yes. That man had many tricks up his sleeves and this was merely one of many. I've never seen anyone else do this trick but apparently it is pretty well known. All I know is that from the time I was a little kid, my grandfather loved to do this trick every now and again because it always made me laugh.

That is one of the first things I learned upon moving to the US, that and the naughty batman reverse on the cap of a bottle of Red Dog. I salute your grandfather, the filthy devil.
However, if you really want to impress folks you should share that thing you showed me when you were up for the Sea Dogs game, the one where with a few deft flicks of the wrist and minimal package tearing you can make the Quaker Oats man auto-fellate. I don't know why you are keeping quiet about that- its a real skill.
Grandpa never did that trick with me! I guess I was too innocent.
D'oh! Saw this post this morning. Just now got the joke. ("Marlon Brando ...") Heh.
my grandmother has chimed in. she sent me this e-mail --
"Let's give credit where credit is due. That Land O'Lakes trick was something Grandpa learned from me. I learned that one when I was a little girl. My playmates and I giggled about it every time we did it, because in those days it was really considered naughty.
Grandpa loved performing for his children and his grandchildren. Grandpa would have smiled to know you thought of him as a cool guy. Sure, he had many tricks he learned from his Dad and some he learned on his own, but not this one."
thanks for chiming in grandma!
today is the 3rd anniversary of my grandfather's death - a tough day for my family. i'm sure he'd be happy that i'm doing my best to spread his sense of humor through the interweb!
So what do you guys do walk around the grocery aisles looking for ways to make naughty pics? I'd hate to see what you would do with Aunt Jemima
