I passed Dan Okrent on the street yesterday (Upper West Side), which seemed appropriate this week.
how did you know it was him? was he wearing a "i hate paul krugman" t-shirt?
i have no idea what he looks like. i'm guessing a slightly pudgy 50-year-old white guy with glasses.
He was in Ken Burns' "Baseball" a lot - either you saw that and remembered his look unconsciously or you have a knack for picturing people sight-unseen.
