dude, you are nuts! that song is fantastic! maybe a little too glossy, maybe a little too smooth, but something about the way he hits the chorus "pine-apple ex-press!"
gives me flashbacks to listening to the cassette my sister and I had of the Back to the Future ost
also I love love love this bit:

ok - i'm convinced. i love it.
huey lewis too smooth? that's like salt being too salty.
the way he "hits the chorus" is quite reminiscent of roberta flack's version of "compared to what".
