It Turns Out That I Was Wrong

On 4/2, I wrote, "I'm finally getting better at the art of swaddling."

Um, not quite.

I really suck at it to be honest.

The kicking and the squirming by the boys doesn't help.

I'll keep working on it.

Best piece of childrearing advice I got so far: "Wait a week."

If you don't like the behavior, don't panic, wait a week and it will change.

If you love the behavior, don't get too cocky, wait a week and it will change.

Squirmy babies. I do know the pain. Have you tried the hardcore DOUBLE swaddle? It was the only thing that worked on Beck, who was all, "Miracle Blanket MY ASS!"

it definitely isn't the fault of the babies. the fault is all mine.

shr has no problem swaddling them.

although, i do think that your advice might resonate with shr dealing with some of MY foolishness.

just so you know, the above pic is more like prep for mumification and not so much like gentle swaddling
