Cooking Diaries, Part 2

The last time I wrote about learning to cook was a over a year ago. That's because the whole learning process came to a screeching halt.

But recently I've gotten back in the saddle.

Jim taught me how to fry an egg. I know, I know. How embarrassing. How does one get to be 36-years-old and not know how to fry an egg?

After the egg lesson, Jim taught me to make french toast. So easy!

A few days later, SHR gave me some extra pointers. Yummy!

Jason taught me how to roast a chicken. A few days later, SHR helped out a little as well.

A week or so later, I decided to try again with thighs rather than the whole chicken. Much easier.

SHR added the rice and we were all set for a delicious dinner.

Who knows what my next culinary adventure will be? I feel so exciting.

Cooking is about trying and not being afraid to fail. I make semi-sucky, but edible dinners all the time...but I learn!
