Appearing in the online version of The Village Voice isn't quite as exciting as appearing in the New York Times but I'll take it. Thanks to Sean for posting and then thanks to Marc for pointing it out to me.
Sean is also in the picture. It was taken at the recent benefit for Haiti at The Bell House.
But then I started doubting myself that I was actually in the picture. I was a bit tipsy that night so who knows but I have no memory of standing in the middle by myself. I see Skippy. He's not near me. I see Sean and Rebecca in the back. But I wasn't standing near any of them.
Then I talked to Sean and he is pretty sure that the only time he and Rebecca stood in the back was during the Sondre Lerche set. But I didn't arrive until after the Sondre Lerche set. What the?
I also had longer hair at this point and am pretty sure that the back of my neck was in desperate need of a trim. I was looking very Wolfman on this night. But the dude in the picture isn't. Did the Voice touch up the back of my neck to make it more suitable for publication?
How could the guy in the picture not be me? I hold my drink like that. I slouch like that. I wear glasses like that. I have the gray hair. But something just doesn't seem right.

What I do know is what happened later. Apparently, I verbally assaulted a certain bald comedian again and later Sondre Lerche bumped into me and sheepishly apologized.
