He Should Have Slid

I used to really be interested about the baseball steroids saga. I read every detail of every news story about the big players. I read Game of Shadows. I was excited to watch as much of the Congressional hearings as I could manage on a work day.

Now I'm kind of bored by it. But this picture in today's NY Times might bring me back to being interested. It is of the Giambi brothers outside of the courthouse after testifying yesterday. Jason is signing an autograph. And Jeremy is checking his phone in a great defensive "I don't care if no one wants my autograph" stance. Hilarious!

Crooked Fingers at the Bell House. His new stuff was great. This was actually my second straight show at the Bell House in two nights. The night before, SHR and I had seen The Reigning Sound.
The footage behind Eric Bachmann is from this crazy bicycle safety movie from the early 60's.

Sunday 2/20
We dropped the boys off with some pals and we had a nice meal at Lot 2.

Monday 2/21
A slow Presidents' Day. It was windy. The most exciting thing I did all day was watch The Daily Show.
