My Favorite Film of the Year
This film occupying the top spot is notable for two reasons. First, it is the first foreign film in my top spot since 2006 - which also was from Japan. And it is also the first time in three years that my favorite film wasn't an animated affair.

The only movie I saw on your list is Winnie the Pooh - I really liked it - great old-school animation! It was Frankie's first movie in the theater - he was mesmerized. What didn't you like?
Maybe I don't get out enough...
i was bored by it. i don't know. nothing wrong with it per se - it was just not for me. sam enjoyed eating the popcorn during the movie.
