Baseball Trip 2011, Part 4

Rockingham County! Poultry capital of the world! Marc and I introduced the newbie Erik to the glories of the turkey statue.
(Photo by the timer on Marc's camera - huzzah!)

This should definitely either be Marc's new Facebook profile pic or maybe the turkey's.

Grafton Snoball. We are a real movie theater, damnit!

And then it was time to go to the Planetarium.

The house was in the process of being cleaned up.

In the years after the radio station kids lived there, there was some dumb frat type thing going on. These were the stairs were Mitten were dubbed a Post Polvo Snooze Fest (later spawning the famous mix tape 'zine) during a party.

If you closed your eyes, you could almost imagine the Ice Cream Socialists playing in this space.

The guys moving in who were cleaning the house are on the right. They were amused by the reminiscing oldsters. We ran into them later in the night at Dave's Taverna but the less said about that place the better.

I blew an early lead and Marc was the JMU champ. Damn Balgavy!

Before heading to the Turks game, we had to hit Kline's. Just as good as I remembered.

The next morning, we stopped by an old favorite. Still one of my favorite all time jobs. I wanted to buy a shirt for Sam but they were out of kids' sizes. The owner gave me a free frisbee instead.

For pictures from the Turks game later that night, check here.
